Little Petra

When a man sets a monument to a woman, it is usually not for his mother-in-law. But that’s exactly what the architect Viggo Boesen did by naming his iconic lounge chair from 1938 Little Petra. His design not only earned praise and prizes at exhibitions in Copenhagen, New York, and Berlin. It is also incredibly inviting and really comfortable. And as an example of the typical Danish “funkis” style, it embodies a piece of Scandinavian design history. &tradition honours this history as it manufactures “Little Petra” with a lot of respect and a keen awareness for quality. Showing Little Petra in the boutique, Wohnidee brings a hint of the stylish 30s to Lucerne – and invites visitors to sit down and try it for themselves.
